 How to Use This Website Guide

The Community Action Human Resources Agency (CAHRA) in partnership with United Way of Pinal County is proud to provide you with information about a wide variety of community and Internet resources. The information at this website is broken down into the following categories:

• Agencies - a comprehensive directory of human services agencies serving Central Pinal County.
• Community Resources - lists of useful community resources.
• Useful Websites - links to other human services websites.

This directory concentrates specifically on Central Pinal County that is defined as Casa Grande, Coolidge, Eloy, Maricopa, Stanfield and surrounding communities. However, information on branch offices for Agencies included in the directory is also available and may cover countywide locations.

It is our goal to offer a "one stop" user-friendly resource for private citizens, human service professionals and emergency service personnel to locate needed information.

To create this resource directory a group of dedicated individuals served on the Development Committee. They gave untiringly of their time and knowledge to insure the directory would be of use to the widest possible audience. CAHRA wishes to acknowledge the following Committee Members:

The Human Services Directory for Central Pinal County is and will continue to be a "work in progress". CAHRA is committed to insuring the most up-to-date information is available and will work with participating agencies to honor this commitment.

CAHRA and members of the Committee would also like to thank all those agencies that have included their information in the directory.

We also look forward to talking with any new agencies that wish to become a part of this project. Agencies must meet the following:

1. An agency must provide at least one service in the target area.
2. An agency must have an established location in the target area where services are provided.
3. An agency must:
   • Accept AHCCCS, Medicare or other subsidized health care insurance, and/or
   • Provide a sliding fee scale, and/or
   • Charge no fee for services
   • An agency must agree to review their entry at least every six months to insure information is up to date and accurate.
